Milene Juliao Argo, MD

As a board-certified primary care physician, Dr. Argo works to create a relationship with patients that promotes trust and open communication, whether the patient has an ordinary cold or a complex chronic condition. She will provide adult wellness and routine sick care, including ordering tests, diagnosing problems, prescribing medication, and referring patients to specialists as needed.

Dr. Argo attended the University of Georgia before earning her Bachelor’s degree in biology with high honors from Georgia Institute of Technology. She earned her medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and completed her Internal Medicine Residency in 2001 at Atlanta Medical Center, where she also served as an Internal Medicine attending physician from 2001-2005. She continues to serve as a clinical assistant professor at the Augusta University Department of Medicine.

In addition to her certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Argo is certified by the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
